Чем хороши поездки, так это возможностью познакомиться с чужой кухней. Без фанатизма, но всё-таки можно позволить себе порой и эксперименты в этом вопросе. Хотя, положа руку на сердце, признаю ― мы ехали в Прагу пить пиво, конечно же. Разумеется, это была не основная цель. Но всё-таки именно Прагу называют пивной столицей Европы (хотя Мюнхен тут наверняка мог бы поспорить). Лично мне чешское пиво нравится больше немецкого, хотя истоки современного чешского пивоварения лежат всё-таки в Германии, насколько я помню из рассказа экскурсовода (Википедия, это, кстати, подтверждает).

Впрочем, эта галерея не о пиве. То есть, не только о пиве. В Чехии пьют напитки самые разные и самой разной крепости (разумеется, начиная с нуля). Хотя для меня Прага стала открытием в области кофе. Не знаю, как сейчас, а в 2008-ом году в кафе гранд-отеля «Европа» вечерами играли на рояле классическую музыку. И вот под эту музыку очень идёт кофе с рюмочкой ликёра (разумеется, отдельно) ― очень интересное сочетание, да ещё в соответствующей атмосфере (тем более что отелю более ста лет и он построен в стиле «модерн»).

Хотя иногда в кафе любопытно просто даже на расстановку стульев посмотреть. Или выглянуть в окно... В любом случае, тема общепита ― неотъемлемая часть любого путешествия.

However, this gallery is not about beer. That is, not just about beer. In the Czech Republic, drinks are very different with very different strength (of course, starting from zero). Although for me, Prague was a discovery in the field of coffee. I don't know how it is now, but in 2008, in the cafe of the Grand hotel "Europe" classical piano music was playing in the cafe in the evenings. Coffee with a glass of liqueur (of course, separately) is very well combined with this music. It was a very interesting experience in a very nice atmosphere (especially since the hotel has more than a hundred years old history and built in the Art Nouveau style).

However, sometimes it is interesting just to look at the arrangement of chairs in a coffeehouse. Or look out the window... In any case, the topic of catering is an integral part of any trip.
